Fourteen years after the release of their last genuine CD album "Shadowblack“, UK legends Click Click, known for such 80s Wave and EBM classics like "Sweet Stuff“ and "I Rage I Melt“, are back in the studio. A new, strictly limited EP entitled "Skin & Bones" is tentatively scheduled for release as compact disc this October.
Whether this release will feature six or seven tracks is still unclear, but at least four new songs "Damage", "Limb From Limb", "Rats In My Beds" and "Left For Dead" have already been completed. More news as we get it.
Until then, you can revisit all of Click Click’s classic hits on the Best Of compilation "Lung Function“, released digitally by Dependent in 2008.
Unfortunately it takes longer than expected, till the complete 20-track-bundle of the new Mesh album "An Alternative Solution", including two last minute added bonus songs, will be available at iTunes, too. We beg your pardon for the delay. It is only a matter of a few days and "You’ll Never Understand" (Harder) and "From This Height" (Remix by Markus Reinhardt of Wolfsheim) are worth the wait, so please stand by.
Last week we offered a full Dismantled song in advance, exclusive to our newsletter subscribers. Now the track is available free for all!
It is the track "Excess" from the upcoming and eagerly-awaited new Dismantled longplayer "The War Inside Me". The album is certainly Gary Zon’s most aggressive work so far and could be seen as the missing link between his dark and desperate masterpiece “Post-Nuclear” and his club compatible sarcastic follow-up “Standard Issue”.
Here you will find the free download of "Excess" and here you can listen to XL-audio clips of all tracks from "The War Inside Me".
At our shop you also can pre-order your CD-copy of the album which is to be released June 10.
From today Dismantled touring North America as support act of Front Line Assembly for 18 live dates. During this tour also the new Dismantled album "The War Inside Me" is to be released (June, 10).

Today is the day: a double dose of Dependent with new albums from Mesh and SKOLD!
Fans of electropop will rejoice over the Mesh release "An Alternative Solution", the remix album accompanying "A Perfect Solution" -- surely one of the electropop highlights of recent years.
"We didn’t want to have big bands as remixers, but just friends we know personally, and who we know like our music, and with whom we have a relationship," says Mesh singer Mark Hockings,"The status of the remixers was secondary, the important thing was that the mixes were good. A friend will do a better mix for you than someone who is just getting a little cash for it."
Featuring remixes from Iris, Zeromancer, Markus Reinhardt (Wolfsheim), Portion Control, Parralox and Assemblage 23 just to name a few, "An Alternative Solution" also comes in a limited edition of 3,000 copies featuring a bonus disc and packaged in a slick slipcase. But presales have been brisk and this limited version is nearly sold out -- fans should secure their copy without delay.
Extensive audio samples from "An Alternative Solution" can be heard here and here you can order your own copy of the limited edition version.
But there's something for fans of guitar-based industrial as well: the long awaited new solo album "Anomie" from former Marilyn Manson co-producer and KMFDM alumnus Tim Skold. SKOLD has already held the press in thrall for weeks (and rightfully so). Sonic Seducer named it "Album of the Month"; Reflections of Darkness finds that "Today there are many bands where the talent of their members and their production acolytes combined doesn’t even halve the one Skold possesses alone. This album was a pure joy to listen to, I found myself surprised by unexpected songs which give a huge breadth and depth to the whole album. This CD deserves to become a classic. Don’t miss it! 10 of 10 points.". Orkus Magazine praised the album as "a fantastic album from a true guitar hero who never lets his blistering technical prowess get between him and the needs of a good industrial song...if Manson wants to reclaim his earlier success he would do well to take a page from Skold's 'Anomie'...9 out of 10 points" ; Bizarre Radio judges "Tim Skold's 'Anomie' is the must-have album of the season. 14/15 points"; and Thomas Clausen (Sonic Seducer) certifies that "the future has won, the past never had a chance. The man who helped shape the sound of both Marilyn Manson and KMFDM strikes back: hard, in high dosage, atmospheric, merciless. A reckoning with himself and the world. `Gods will die where superstars collide...´".
What else can you say?
You can hear audio samples from "Anomie" via the Dependent Player here and order your very own copy through the shop.

The long announced new Dismantled album ”The War Inside Me“ will finally see release on June 10.
Maybe “The War Inside Me” is actually the missing link between Gary Zon´s dark and desperate masterpiece “Post-Nuclear” and his club compatible sarcastic follow-up “Standard Issue”. It is a certain observation that his new album fits right between those records, stylistically, equipped with two additional attributes. One is Aggression, the other one is Hate.
“The War Inside Me” is certainly Gary Zon’s most aggressive work so far with tracks like “Insecthead” and “Kill Or Be Killed” proving that point. The California trio led by Gary Zon, backed by Jon Siren and female keyboarder T-ZA take no prisoners on this fifth album neither musically nor lyrically. It is the first Dismantled album that certainly earned its “Parental Advisory” sticker. Unlike other industries bands leaking profanities by the dozen, Dismantled’s album comes heavily equipped with two criteria that have become a rare occasion in this music scene: Intelligence and talent. Additionally the album is equipped with a few really neat club slammers, namely “Kill Or Be Killed”, the minimalistic “Dead On impact” or the melodic “Excess”. And although Zon has already proven on prior occasions that he can be master of complex arrangements, “The War Inside Me” comes packed with a raw and minimalistic aggressiveness, consisting of fat and simple baselines and heavy military drums, complemented by Zon’s variable vocalist skills. Other moments include calm. glimpses, like the ballad-like title track, or the unusually melodic “Disease”. Despite the many simpler arrangements which mostly construct “The War Inside Me”, this album sounds unique, honest and energetic at the same time.
Pre-listening clips will be available soon and to shorten the wait this friday a full track from the album will be offered as free download in advance!
You also can now pre-order your copy of the album right here.
Front Line Assembly prepare for their first North American tour in four years. On this tour they will get support by Dismantled!
The 25-stop North American tour will kick off on May 15th in Canada (followed by a performance at Montreal's Festival Kinetik on May 19th), then across the US through June 13th. In addition to Dismantled, Cyanotic and DJ Acucrack will also be supporting.
"We're quite excited," FLA co-founder and industrial music veteran Bill Leeb says of the new tour. "We feel we have grown as a band over the last four years. We really feel this new album ("Improvised.Electronic.Device.") will sound great live and can't wait to get out there and be creative with it!" Leeb will be joined onstage by the band's live lineup of Jeremy Inkel, Jared Slingerland, and Jason Bazinet.
Dismantled will already perform material from their upcoming album "The War Inside Me", which is to be released in June in Europe by Dependent. Mastermind Gary Zon about the album: "This is so much more than just an album for me, it's my life. I couldn't say that with any album I've done, but now living in a rehearsal space in downtown Lost Angeles, right inside the cracks of its diseased, urban sprawl has inspired me to take my art to levels never experienced before. The music is just the beginning, and the album artwork will be the first piece of the nightmare."
While you haven't heard much from Seabound in the last year, we finally have some updates for you. Seabound have started working on their fourth studio album. We neither have a working title for you, nor can we give you any details regarding a release schedule thus far. All we can say is that the first larger studio sessions are already finished, and that the first songs are near completion. We will keep you in the loop!
Only one week to go till “Anomie” the new solo album by the former Marilyn Manson co-producer and KMFDM comrade Tim Skold is to be released in Europe (Friday 20th is the day).
The press has already heard the new SKOLD album and proclaims:
"Well worth the wait? Absolutely! Teased for almost 2 years now and 15 years since his debut, `Anomie´ is a brilliant return ... If you ever thought Tim Skold was a one-trick industrial metal pony then `Anomie´ is just the album to prove you wrong." - PopBlerd
"This is a record well worth remembering, every stamp Skold has ever placed on record has been massive, hopefully this is the beginning of an incredible new era for Tim Skold as his solo record “Anomie” places his new music in the foreground, establishing his column in the guitar legend pantheon as well and making a record for himself that rocks harder than all others." - Crossroads Music
"Album of the month!" - Sonic Seducer, Germany
"Today there are many bands where the talent of their members and their production acolytes combined doesn’t even halve the one Skold possesses alone. This album was a pure joy to listen to, I found myself surprised by unexpected songs which give a huge breadth and depth to the whole album. This CD deserves to become a classic. Don’t miss it! 10 of 10 points." - Reflections Of Darkness
"Fans of modern industrial sounds and the ever progressing hybrid style should lap this up." - Soundsphere Mag
